Russ Emerson, webmaster of this site and of Blogs For Bush, is widely known through the right side of the blogosphere (specifically, among the most loyal of Emperor Misha's Loyal Citizens) as a website & blogware technical whiz-kid, despite having attained the advanced age of 43.

Russ served in the US Army as a Korean linguist, Signal Intelligence & Electronic Warfare specialist, machine-gunner, and helicopter-jumper-outer until forced into early retirement by an unfortunately-timed sports injury. His foreign language skills are no longer worth mentioning.

Having taken advantage of his GI Bill benefits, he is now an internetworking engineer and author of technical books and articles. Russ was working on the nuts and bolts of the Internet long before Al Gore claimed to have invented it.
