Jobs for January

The Labor Department figures are in, and they were labeled "somewhat lackluster," "fell short," and full of "limited new opportunities."

The economy added 146,000 jobs, meaning that the economy added 119,000 jobs during President Bush's first term. (AP describes this as a Bush "escape.")

The unemployment rate fell to 5.2% in January, down from 5.4% in December.

These numbers fell short of the predictions at which the AP asserts it had been looking, but the AP was also looking at projections that Bush would be "the first president since Herbert Hoover to have a net loss of jobs on his watch."

Herbert Hoover, indeed.

Why again did JF Kerry run? Oh, yeah: he always wanted to be President.

Lets face it, the libs aren't very good at being right about much of anything. And they are outright miserable when it comes to admitting they were wrong.
