CPAC 2005: Michelle Malkin

La Shawn Barber and I came out early waiting for Michelle Malkin to arrive for her book signing. Bryan of Junkyard Blog joined up with us and Wes Roth as well. La Shawn was very excited, she told me that Michelle Malkin was "the only person she'd wait in line for." Michelle came about 15 minutes before her book signing was supposed to start. We went up to her, she was very excited to see us fellow bloggers.

She had to go off for a while, so we just started our line. Bill Gertz was signing books and when he left Michelle took his place... We were all really excited, especially La Shawn. We were lucky and end up being the ones forming the front of the line, so I left La Shawn take the first spot. I'm sure her photos will be posted soon.

So I had a nice short chat with Michelle about how CPAC was going. I told her about meeting Zell Miller and how exciting that was.

Matt, it was nice to see you are buds with Michelle and that she was just as excited to meet you and La Shawn. That's very cool.

You guys are doing such a vital service for our country and its nice to see the camaraderie you have. What a difference you all are making.

And Michelle went there feeling a little under the weather, so kudo's to her for toughing it out.

GOPbloggers, the other great conservative bloggers, and talk radio are working hard to make America better. We readers finally have a resource, a venue, a fighting chance to stop the insanity of liberalism thanks to all of you.

Hope you had a great time at the CPAC, you deserve it.

Oh, fine - you just go and meet Michelle and La Shawn; we'll keep our spirits up knowing that at least we didn't have to get out of our pajamas.

:o)
