The good ol' New York Times has a piece entitled, Experts Say Ending Feeding Can Lead to a Gentle Death detailing how the starvation death of Terri Schiavo is "gentle" and will cause "little discomfort". But I wonder if the Times reporter will tell that to these people or these? (Hat tip: Michelle)
Maybe if Terri were an al-Qaida terrorist or Guantanamo detainee, these liberals would start taking an interest in her plight.
I guess the NYT thinks we should stop helping those subjected to genocide and starvation in Africa. Send a memo to Samaritan's Purse, "Stay out of the Sudan, those people aren't suffering. They are merely experiencing the most natural death known to man and, what's more, one group of people doesn't believe they have a right to live, so they don't."
Oh, and don't forget (or do) the starving Tsunami victims. They've got to be the most comfortable people in the world right now!

God help us!

boy would the left wing moonbats scream about this "wonderful way to die with dignity".
Thank GOD the pro life republicans are in control of our govt, not the new modern day killing machine = democratic party.

Maybe we ought to call Sally Struthers and have her do a new commercial.... "for less than the price of a cup of coffee a day, you can feed this woman for a week... unless liberals decide her sleazeball husband should be able to kill her to be with his mistress"

Do we have any volunteers from the nyt willing to give us a first hand account?

BobG: I'd be satisfied to see the ghouls at the Times who wrote that editorial go without eating until, say, Thursday.
C'mon -- just Thursday. Please!?!?
