That is the gist of this opinion piece:
..does Rendell, 61, up for reelection next year, have presidential aspirations of his own? ''To the extent that you can run for president post-2006, I would take a look at it," Rendell told the Globe.
All I can say is: Let us have at him! We've a score to settle, those of us who watched Rendell in the 2004 campaign try and disenfranchise soldiers, enfranchise criminals and lets just say that we're mighty doubtful about those vote totals which came out of Philadelphia (Rendell's base) in both 2004 and 2000.
He might be governor of a swing State, but at bottom he's just another grafting, liberal Donk out of touch with America.
Unfortunately, the Democrat Party will not let Rendell get any presidential momentum because they know he would get creamed in a national election.
I honestly pray that he gets the nomination because he will lose, big time.
The only reason he won the state of Pennsylvania is because the liberal voter fraud in the city of Philadelphia is probably impossible to stop. Philadelphia has a very effective covert voter fraud machine, controlled by wealthy corrupt liberal activists and it gets an overwhelming lead for any Democrat.
Pennsylvania Republicans who voted for him (myself included) have learned a lesson. He's a partisan, mean-spirited, win at all cost, lying, misleading tax and spend phoney.

President Rendell? Sounds like grist for a network "movie of the week."
Or maybe a sitcom - kind of like "King of Queens" meets "Goodfellas" meets "The West Wing."
Somehow I doubt even the devil himself has a sense of humor quite THAT twisted.
