Real Estate Boom in Afghanistan

Of course, the BBC news story hits the angle of how high land and rental prices are making it harder for a charitible organization to make ends meet; the subtext being, apparantly, that it'd be better if Afghanistan were poor, because that would make charity inexpensive. But the actual story is that land prices and rents are skyrocketing in Afghanistan...and that would only be happening if people were confident about Afghanistan's future.

We can expect, over the next year or so, for there to be a complete black-out on MSM reports about Afghanistan...it'll become The Country That MSM Forgot....but it'll always remain a proud victory for the United States, and a signpost on the route to reform in the Moslem world.
