Yet More Liberal Absurdity

Our liberals are all for open borders; as far as they are concerned, anyone who wants may enter at any time...especially if they'll vote the "correct" way at election time. Given this, this story from Radio and Records brought to us via Radio Equalizer is a bit strange, to say the least:

Arizona State Rep. Kyrsten Sinema has charged the U.S. Border Patrol with having a double standard when it comes to prosecuting individuals who cross the U.S. border with Mexico illegally. During a visit this week to the Mexico-U.S. border, the ABC Radio Networks syndicated talker and Fox News personality stepped over a fence into Mexico and moments later stepped back over into the U.S. Sinema charges that action means Hannity broke U.S. law by reentering the U.S. illegally and that although the Border Patrol saw Hannity's action agents took no steps against him or made any attempt to arrest him. Hannity was in Arizona this week to highlight the crisis of illegal immigration between the U.S. and Mexico.

Shows the utter hypocrisy and the willingness to use any club which comes to hand so typical of leftwing tactics these days. In the end, I can't imagine there being much result from this other than a yet firmer conviction on the right that the left has become alarmingly stupid.

Kyrsten Sinema is a real nut case. All you have to do is look at her bio to see she's connected to several looney left organizations. I've posted some of them on my site.

Someone needs to grab Rep. Sinema by the collar and smack her upside the head a few times. Then defeating her in the next election would seem like a logical follow-up.

the fence Hannity went through is on US soil by several feet, he never actually left the US.

And, apparently someone from cBS 60 Minutes did the exact same thing. No charges there...

Perhaps a comment on the President's publicly expressed sentiments on the minutemen?

That Hannity is a U.S. citizen seems clear to just about everyone except the loony left. And that he was filming a theatrical point by showing the fence, even though, as someone else here writes, Hannity never actually left the U.S. in the process, just made a point that illegal immigration is a personal choice to violate laws, consists of personal action, one step at a time.

Not like Hannity walked across the fence to Mexico City and then asked for a stipend and healthcare and benefits and...
