A Web of Hypocrisy

The Democrats' smear campaign against Tom DeLay shows no signs of stopping. The Democrats, unable to win elections on ideas, have resorted to partisan attacks in order to oust Republican Party Leadership. It's not going to work. They are accusing him of ethics violations for doing things that are common among congressmen.

The Democrats, unable to win elections on ideas,

Like the honorable ideas that were calmly discussed by the Swift Boat Vets for "Truth"?

Right ... you guys are cleaner than snow.

What? Are you serious?

They are accusing him of ethics violations for doing things that are common among congressmen.

Try that defense in a court of law, "Your honor, they're doing it too!"

Ethics. You conservatives would no ethics (or morals, or truth) if it were to bite you on your fat white ass.

The Swifties were not elected Republicans... heck I am pretty sure there are a number of them who are not Republicans.

I would also submit that when Kerry based his entire platform on his Vietnam record he made it fair game for criticism.

Joan, you prove my point.. it's okay for Democrats to do certain things, but it's not okay for Republicans... what a sad double standard.

Seems like the swiftboat vets were never refuted, and i don't remember kerry signing his release form. I wonder why? Can you give me a good reason Cindy? He promised he would. Please answer with one credible reason why he has not or shut up about the swiftboats. Seems to me Delay has not been convicted of any crimes. I don't see him being convicted of any crimes in the future either. he will survive this smear campaign. In the meantime the democrats are providing many soundbites that will be used against them in the upcoming elections. Please keep it up libs!

Beelzebub! How'd that work for you? Same thing you're trying to do. This article is about all the Democrats that are doing the same things that they're attacking DeLay for doing. Your response - drag out the Swift Boat Vets again even though they have nothing to do with anything remotely related to the subject at hand. As long as you want to change the subject, let's talk about Kerry signing the SF-180. Has he done it yet? You know its been 85 days since he promised to sign it on Meet the Press. Not yet? Hmmm. Wonder why?

Right ... you guys are cleaner than snow.

We don't have to be, just cleaner than a bunch of disgusting liberals. That's easy to do.

What? Are you serious?

Nah, just joking.

Try that defense in a court of law, "Your honor, they're doing it too!"

Funny you should mention that. What court of law exactly is prosecuting any case against DeLay? Huh? Can't hear you.

Ethics. You conservatives would no ethics (or morals, or truth) if it were to bite you on your fat white ass.

Do you libs always think that you must counter every mention of the word ethics with a reference to some banal part of your body? Does that balance it for you? And one thing we do know is how to spell "know," unlike your uneducated lazy ass.

Joan's a racist.

Certainly someone with racist denigrations about "white" folks.

That is a good point. I'm a conservative of South Asian descent, and unless I sit in a bucket of baby powder, my ass is never white.

Not only have many Democrats done the same thing (taken trips, played golf, hired family members), many of those failed to report the trips in a timely fashion. Pelosi thinks it's all about reporting. DeLay reported his trips on time. It was not until later that he found out the group had registered as an alien entity.
