It was inevitable that when the Ethics charges started flying around Capitol Hill that Democrats would come up on the losing end of the exchange. When Chris Bell broke the 7-year truce on filing ethics complaints, he probably didn't contemplate the damage it would have on his own party. The funny thing is, you'd think Democrats like Nancy Pelosi would've known what was in THEIR OWN files before launching the attacks on DeLay that would ultimately backfire by exposing their own ethical shortcomings.
Now the chickens are coming home to roost... so what is Pelosi's response?
"It is not an issue of members of our Caucus having the same sort of a problem. Make no mistake - there is a drastic difference between the timing of reporting things and ethical behavior."
That's it. The best the Left has to offer is "We're guilty too, but you should only punish Republicans."
Well, there's a convenient position.
Their responses to things like this always amaze me, in that they are so convinced of the utter ignorance and stupidity of the American people! Do they really think we do not see their hypocrisy?

Yes.
Afterall, it is the party that claimed their base was too stupid to vote.
