Another Democrat Distances Himself From Dean

The latest Democrat to wash himself of Howard Dean.... New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson:

``I believe Governor Dean is a good chairman. He's doing a good job,'' Richardson, the head of the Democratic Governors' Association, told reporters at the start of a two-day visit to New Hampshire. ``He's not the spokesman for the party. It's governors, it's senators, it's party leaders.''

I wonder when Dean will be asked to step down?

I wonder when Dean will be asked to step down?

How about NEVER. He's as stubborn as a mule and suffers from the delusion that he is right and the rest of the donks who don't worship at his altar are just eeeeeevvvviiiiilllll Republicans in disguise. The only way he goes is if the donks force him out.

The first step will be for a delegation of denouncers to meet secretly with him and demand that he curb is acerbic tongue. They will then smugly announce that the Vermont abortionist has agreed to tone it down. Within hours (days at most), Howlin' Howie will again be foaming from the mouth and the party elders will have to remove him, probably publicly and with much unwanted press coverage.

Republicans will make hay out of that turn of events as they move the howler out of the spotlight. Dean's faithful lefties will go into a worse funk than last November after the election.

It will be a mini-series by the fall. I will watch, how about you?

How about 2-3 hours after the polls close in 2006?

Dean's job is to flush out the moonbats this time around, at the cost of more Congressional seats (that they were going to lose anyway), to clear the way for Shrillary to emerge as the "moderate centrist" democRat, to save the party, and usher in a win come 2008.

I agree with Rush on this one: "Never".

He's saying what too many of the Dems are thinking. Publicly, they're backing away, but privately they're nodding in agreement.
