Canada's Supreme Court has ruled that "Canada's vaunted public health-care system produces intolerable inequality." While 3 judges wanted to declare outright that the national health-care system is unconstitutional, the full court stopped just short... Why is this important? Because the Canadian system closely resembles a plan Hillary unveiled in 1993.
The Canucks are proving that government takeover does not make a system immune from simple economics. It's ironic that an icon of the "pro-choice" Left would support a system that prevents citizens from seeking their own private care.
Boy are the liberals gonna be pissed they supported the idea of our Supreme Court considering international law when formulating their opinions.
Boy are the liberals gonna be pissed...
I doubt it. For most libs, they wake up to a new world every day. Past statements mean nothing; past positions are only worth remembering when the other person's name is Monica. They won't even realize their own hypocrisy. And, to hear them talk, they only support "good" international law - and they get to determine what is "good" and what is not. Why? Because they have a divine right (as much as sectarians can have a divine anything) to speak for the poor, the underprivileged, the downtrodden and the weak. Why? Because they FEEL for them, don't you see?

All these liberals who are clammoring for nationalized health care obviously have never lived under such a system.
My husband used to be in the Air Force. The military health care system IS what nationalized health care would be, and let me tell you... it is CRAP. (Please don't get me wrong... I love the military, but military health care is laughable. Free, but really, you DO get what you pay for.) Yes, there are some competant doctors in the military, but there are also plenty of incompetant doctors (and dentists)... a lot of whom could not have passed their medical exam boards in the real world make it through in the military system.
