House Republican Leadership Sends Letter to Pelosi on Durbin Comments

The House Republican leadership has just sent this letter to Rep. Pelosi asking her if she agrees with Senator Durbin's comments the other day comparing the actions of our military to that of the Nazis.

In it they ask, "Does the speech made by Senator Durbin also reflect your views as the House Democratic Leader? In not, we respectfully request that you renounce Senator Durbin's comments. These sorts of irresponsible comments send the wrong message to our soldiers. Our troops have every right to know that the leadership of the United States Congress stands firmly behind them."
