The left-wing interest groups are already on the attack:
People for the American WayChuck Schumer already prepared the battleground in his belligerent speech immediately after the President's speech. It is a shame that Democrats cannot grant the same respect to Roberts that was granted to former ACLU General Counsel Ruth Bader Ginsburg (confirmed 96-3). It is truly a double standard.
