Another NARAL Lie

Another dishonest element in NARAL's anti-Roberts hit piece is timing. While the abortion clinic bombing to which NARAL tries to tie John Roberts occurred in 1998, Roberts wrote his brief (which said an 1871 anti-Ku Klux Klan law was not applicable to limiting the freedom of speech of anti-abortion protesters) in 1991. This is just another way NARAL is manufacturing falsehoods to injure a good man.

At first, I just thought that NARAL was acting this way because they're bound to oppose anything that the President does, including any nominee no matter who.

But I think what is going on here, since they're going so far as to broadcast blatant lies, is more than a blanket response. I think they're afraid of Judge Roberts and what he stands for. No, really, I think they're scared to death of what he might mean to their screeching demands for abortions, anytime, anywhere, for everyone - and psssst, don't tell Mom and Dad.

Well, if they're really scared of Judge Roberts, that's even more reason for us to make sure he gets confirmed.

There is likely a place somewhere in a dimly-lit corner of one of the vast Smithsonian buildings gathering dust, waiting for an exhibit featuring the rise - and fall - of NOW, NARAL and their ilk as part of the disastrous mistakes initiated by the now-aging hippie generation. I can't wait for the opening.

NOW has lost 85% of its funding in the last five years. What do you expect from people who enthusiastically embrace the genocidal murder of 40 million unborn humans in the last 32 years. Do you think telling a few lies will bother their seared conscience?
