DNC Talking Points in Action

On Tuesday, I blogged about Howard Dean's speech where he claimed that in order for Democrats to be more successful, they had to strategically push their own set of facts:

"We have to be out there. We have to be vocal. We have to be pushing our version of the facts because their version of the facts is very unfactual."

Seems all the left-wing minions are following his lead.

1. NARAL ran a bogus attack ad, pushing their version of the facts regarding Judge Roberts.

2. The New York Times finally begins almost invisible coverage of brewing Air America scandal... and in the process, pushes its version of the facts, including the alteration of quotes to minimize the impact of the story.

3. Democrat Lee Hamilton, chair of the 9/11 Commission, when confronted with the Able Danger revelations, pushes his version of the facts, and falsely claims the Commission didn't have prior knowledge.

4. Cindy Sheehan seems to forget the facts surrounding her 2004 meeting with President Bush, as leftist organizations jump on the bandwagon to help her push a different version of the facts.

From special interest groups to Mainstream Media outlets to members of Congress, it appears liberals are taking Dean's message to heart and creating a world of "fabricated Democrat facts" and pushing them on the public. And they think this is the way to win the hearts and minds of voters.

So where has this gotten the Democrats? NARAL has pulled the ad. A spokesman for the 9/11 Commission has contradicted Hamilton's claim. The NYT will have to explain why it intentionally altered facts for its story. The Sheehan family ask Cindy to retract the lies that are feeding the "grief pimps".

One has to wonder what version of facts they'll push on us next.
