Some in Congress Willing to Give Up Pork

Instapundit notes that some members of Congress are saying they are willing to give up their local pork-barrel projects to finance hurricane recovery. Unfortunately, Don Young is still not willing to give up his $225 million bridge to nowhere and continues to embarass. Porkbusters is monitoring which members are responsible and which are obstinate.

So Richard Shelby is "willing" to give up his pork. Not to be insensitive, but given the amount of money we are going to spend on Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, wouldn't it make send to make those states give up ALL of their pork before going to other states?
