The Difference Between Democrats and Republicans

It's worthwhile to note, once again, the difference between Democrats and Republicans. Recall how Democrats viciously defamed and attacked special counsel Kenneth Starr with unrelenting malice simply for doing the job he was appointed by Janet Reno to do. Contrast this with the total respect and deference Republicans have demonstrated regarding special counsel Peter Fitzgerald. The difference is reflective of two very different approaches to politics. While Lewis Libby has been indicted today, the honorable manner with which he has been treated by Republicans highlights the Democrats' despicable behavior. This is an indictment of Democrats' total lack of ethics, morals and propriety.

Being out in the boonies the other day with few radio stations that would come in, I found myself dipping a toe into the Randi Rhodes sewer she calls a talk show, and she commented on the respect with which Fitzgerald has been treated---but went on to say the Republicans would no doubt "go after his wife" instead. Leading into a Rhodsian rant on how the Right would attack Fitzgerald's wife, smear her, etc. She did finally take a breath to wonder if Fitzgerald even HAS a wife, but went back into the claim that---for some revealed reason---the Republicans have decided not to smear Fitzgerald, but to go after his poor innocent (and possibly nonexistent) "wife".

BTW, any idea why XM Radio dropped real talk shows to put Dr. Laura on America Right? Does anyone know who is on the other satellite radio system? Out in the outback, it's either satellite or Airhead America
