Look as Hard as You Want, "Abortion" Is Not in the Constitution

If you searched for the word "abortion" in the U.S. Constitution, you would not find it anywhere. Not in the original document and not in any of the Amendments (including the Bill of Rights). So the breathless headlines "Report: Alito Wrote That Constitution Does Not Protect Abortion" are much ado about nothing. Many liberals will acknowledge that Roe v. Wade was a weak decision and that liberal judges had to invent new Constitutional rights that had never been seen before and that still are nowhere to be seen in the text of the Constitution.
