What About Tookie's Victims?

That is what John McIntyre over at the RCP Blog asks:

Tookie Williams has been in the news quite a bit. Unfortunately, the four people he murdered over 26 years ago seem to have been forgotten, by and large, by the national press corps covering this story. In the name of fairness and justice, one would think that the media would have an obligation to balance some of the time devoted to Stanley Williams on the four people Tookie snuffed the life out of over a quarter of a century ago.

The reason for the silence, of course, is that Williams claimed he didn't commit those crimes...and in MSM-land, when a convicted murderer on death row is black and claiming innocence, then innocent he is...they couldn't interview the familes of his victims because that would have been against the rules. No amount of jury trial or judicial review makes the slightest difference...far superior to our judicial system are the pronouncments of has-been actors and race-hustling con-men.

Notice that all the posturing had no effect in the end.
Rejoice - even in California, there is some trace of sanity.

And Democrats claim they're the ones all about sympathy. Try being sympathetic to the victims' families, you hypocrites.
