Michigan Turning Red?

Perhaps - what else do you expect after four years of liberal, Democratic Administration?

March 27, 2006--The latest Rasmussen Reports poll in the race for governor of Michigan shows Democratic Governor Jennifer Granholm and Republican Dick DeVos tied, 44% to 44%. This confirms the tightening of the race first reported last month.

In January, Granholm held a double-digit lead.

There is no better advertisement for Republican government than a Democratic government - they are so relentlessly incompetant and so clearly in the pockets of a few, well heeled special interests that everying tends to go to heck in a handbasket when Deomcrats are in charge ... only in few enclaves like San Francisco and Los Angeles does this not result in GOP victories.

Almost all competitive statewide races here are within 5%. Bush and Posthumus both lost by about 4%. We gain 2% and they lose 2% and that's the game right there.
