Rep. Cynthia McKinney Hits Capitol Police Officer

No, I'm not making this up...

Rep. Cynthia McKinney, D-Ga., has been accused of hitting a Capitol Hill police officer.

Sources told WSB-TV in Atlanta that McKinney was involved in a disagreement with the officer at a security checkpoint at the Capitol.

One of the sources, a member of the House Republican Conference, confirmed that McKinney struck the officer.

The House sergeant-at-arms and a high ranking member of the Capitol Hill Police Department met with McKinney in her office Wednesday afternoon.

McKinney has refused multiple requests for a comment on the reports.

It's almost ironic that this hapen the same day Democrats held their media stunt unveiling their so-called security agenda...

Consider that the "fight or flight response" is our body's primitive, automatic, inborn response that prepares the body to "fight" or "flee" from perceived attack, harm or threat to our survival. So is it that she perceived him to be hostile or that she jsut needed to make the news?

The woman is an pig and an acute embarrassment to Georgia. She should be removed from office and sent home, except we don't want her!

Arrest her just as any other citizen under the same set of circumstances would have been arrested.

What a pompous ass. Now the race card to cover up her ignorant behavior. She should be treated as anyone else that assumes they are above the law and should not be tolerated. Remember Zsa Zsa? Its not the color that counts its the ignorant behavior.

AS a taxpayer and a citizen it is amazing to me that the people of this country would allow an elected official to act in such a manner. If this was Joe or Jane citizen wheather they are black, White, Asian, or of Arabic background they would have been arrested on the spot. WHat is funny to me (and I'm not a registered Republican) is that the people of Georgia are so ignorant they would elect this woman not once but repeatedly. Here adgenda is clear (continue to stoke the fire of racism to ensure she remains in office). This is merely another example of politicians assuming they are above the law. I have only the voters to blame. She's and idiot, but those that vote for her are even more cluless.
