The Democrats' Fictional Victory

Well, this was one election we all knew what the result would be, but the Democrat candidate in NBC's The West Wing emerged victorious in the election in tonight's episode.

Well, the Democrats should enjoy this fictional victory while it lasts..

When it comes to real life, with real issues, a real war on terror, a real economy... real life Republicans are elected to do the job.

Hey Matt-

Did you happen to capture the "West Wing electoral map"?

I'd love to post it and do an analysis of the states that went to Santos. I saw SC did... yeah, right.

Dems deserved to win, but not as much as in real life. When it comes to real life, WATCH OUT!

It seems the Democrats are always in charge in the world of television. Except when they need to present a villain in the government, then suddenly he is Republican.

Not that I am saying there is any liberal media bias or anything.

You know what else was fictional? The Republican candidate (Alan Alda) seemed to have a conscience.

And it was cool that the pivitol state was Nevada. Isn't another of our fearless Bush Bloggers from Nevada? And you know who you are, Mark Noonan.

The Republican (Alan Alda)was going to win until John Spencer who played democrat Leo McGarry died. Then the writers didnt want viewers to be sad with a death and a loss.
