Bush Has Better Approval Ratings Than Congress...

...According to the latest Harris poll. Still the media prefers to talk about Bush's low approval ratings... but then again, they wouldn't be the MSM otherwise.

...and Congress is controlled by republicans. Not a stretch here to say Americans aren't happy with republicans in general.
Must be embarassing to be a republican these days.

And the Democrats plan is what, Bob?

You beat me to it Bob.

So we'll have a Republican President two years longer than a Republican Congress. I could have told you that.

That's pretty funny, Matt - I suppose you could see a silver lining in Bush doing marginally better than his fellow Republicans, but you'd really have to be trying hard - but then again, you wouldn't be a GOPblogger otherwise.

It's pretty standard for Bush's approval ratings being bigger news than those of Congress - why should it be any different now?

The reason the MSM keeps talking about Bush isn't becaus they're liberal, it's because...BUSH IS THE PRESIDENT!!! Remember that from 4th grade? He's the guy who runs the government, the big cheese, head honcho, Commander and Chief... So, it's a significant news story. Nobody ever likes the Congress anyways, that's not big news.
