It's pretty clear listening to the audio that she's saying you don't need to be registered to vote (ie legal) to help the campaign. And I suspect if the full audio were provided, you'd hear her explain how to "help" - eg, canvass their neighborhood, etc.

You're free to disagree with her immigration ideas, but clearly she's running to represent those people, so it's not exactly shocking to hear something like this.

Well, I dont know how legal it is to ask illegal aliens to work for your campaign, I do know that its against the law for illegal aliens to work anywhere else in America.

I also know that the clip clearly has her saying "you dont need papers to vote and you dont need to be a registered voter to help"

As to your point about who shes running to represent, I submit that shes running to represent American citizens, not illegal immigrants.

One thing that nobody is really talking about, exactly how long has it been safe to admit that your an illegal alien at democratic political events?

The Democrats strategy is always to get the
republicans in a tight spot that they cannot help but do what they want. Any laws that are passed should contain a clause saying that no immigrants can not vote until they become legalized citizens and can understand englishas spoken in America . If they are allowed to vote , it could change the way our congress looks.

Okim's Razor, the simplest solution is usually right. And in this case, she meant what she said, you don't have to have papers to vote (I.E. voting papers). Meaning you don't need voting papers to help her campaign. Not that you don't need papers to vote.

NN, you must be kidding! If you believe that, you're living in LaLa-Land! I lived in New Mexico, and there, as in CA, they do not want you to show them your voter registration! I've heard people in NM brag about how many times they vote!

Hey, GOPb'ers! Your contact page is not working. I've tried to e-mail y'all that my link for Dagney's Rant needs to be changed, but your link doesn't work:

Please check your "send" link. Haven't you wondered why you're not getting any e-mail? Thanks for changing Dagney's Rant link FROM http://www.dagney007.blogspot.com TO http://dagneysrant.com

Thanks, Matt.
