In today's Washington Post, the front page of the 'A' section has the story U.S. Secretly Tapping Global Bank Records. What is all the way in the back of the 'A' Section? 7 Held in Miami in Terror Plot Targeting Sears Tower.
Did anyone stop to think that maybe the back page story was the reason for what was reported in the front page story? Did anyone stop to think that maybe what law enforcement was doing in the front page story led to them being able to stop what was reported in the back page story. The placement of these two stories should have been reversed.

Even worse, perhaps the timing of the story about the goverment's use of intertational finacial data to track terrorists forced the government to move in and make arrests before they had uncovered the rest of the network.
