Imagine that... BIll Clinton thinks the GOP strategy for winning in November is "weak."
Democrats should perform well in November if they focus on issues like climate change, former president Bill Clinton told an Aspen Ideas Festival audience Friday. It's going to more than historical precedent for the Democrats to win in November. Further, it seems rather curious that Clinton belittles the issues of gay marriage and flag burning, when it just so happens that those are two losing issues for the Democrats -- don't you think? Meanwhile Clinton also says that our economy is losing jobs (despite the fact that statistics prove otherwise) I would love to ask Clinton what he thinks of the Democrats' strategy. They have no plan. They have no consensus on Iraq. Their idea of national security is impeaching President Bush while making it impossible to track, monitor and detain terrorists. They abandoned their culture of corruption mantra after too many in their own party came under investigation. Historical precedent may lean in favor of the Democrats right now, but historical precedent also said they should have won (and won big) in 2002 and that didn't happen. The key differences between Republicans and Democrats is vision and leadership. The Republicans have these qualities, the Democrats don't. That's why we keep winning elections and they keep losing.“Historically, we should win,” Clinton said. “We might well win one or more houses.”
In a wide-ranging, hour-long interview, Clinton discussed AIDS, Sudan, limits to executive power, climate change, Rwanda, oil, Iraq, Democratic Party strategies and GOP mastermind Karl Rove.
The Republican strategy is weak, he said.
“Let’s forget about global warming and talk about flag burning and gay marriage,” Clinton said. “I don’t know how long you can milk that old cow.”

I would imagine that you're one of those people that gripes about the media distorting the facts. Assuming that's the case, I find it very interesting that you'd swallow whatever a journalist wrote so long as it can be turned against Bill Clinton (hint: try reading the transcript, and see if the above statement is an accurate representation of what Clinton said about the Bush administration's record on job creation).
