Lebanon Declares War on Israel

The Arabs are escalating.

Hizbollah guerrillas captured two Israeli soldiers and killed up to seven Israelis in violence on either side of the Lebanese border on Wednesday, further inflaming Middle East tensions.
Since Lebanon allows Hezbollah free rein, this amounts to an act of war. As always, it is not American action against Muslim terrorists in Iraq or Israeli action against Muslim terrorists in its territory that is destabilizing. It is the action of those Muslim terrorists in the first place that endangers security.

This is the point that the libs don't get. These "Islamo-Nazis" are on the offensive.

It is very clear to some that you either fight the forces of evil or you cease to exist.

The Holocaust, that Iran's leader refuses to acknowlege, should not be forgotten. The same holds true with the attacks on the innocent people of our country on September 11, 2001.

It is our right, as it is the right of other freedom loving nations of civilized people to defend against these aggressions.

The Bush Doctrine was right to identify countries that harbor terrorists as a threat. This situation with Lebanon bears that out.

As usual we have a one sided view on the problem. The problems in the Middle East have come about by years of oppression encouraged (indirectly in the case of Israel and the Palestines by the US and other western powers). Think of the thousands of innocent people that have been killed because of a minority. There is no justification for such murder on either side. Do not insult the memories of those people killed at 9/11 as an excuse to stage a war in another country. The world is not black and white. This eye for an eye policy is just fuelling extremism. Something needs to be done but not at the expense of innocent lives
