Everyone who seeks to blame the West for Islam's murderous track record is either historically ignorant or woefully naive. Hatred of Israel has nothing to do with "occupation" or land. The PLO was founded when Arabs controlled the West Bank and Gaza, several years before Israel conquered them in an Arab-launched war, and Arab massacres of Jews predated even the formation of the State of Israel for the Palestinian Jews, which occurred simultaneously with the formation of another state for the Palestinian Arabs who preferred to futilely try to drive the Jews into the sea. And if you think the slaughter of Buddhist monks in Thailand or Christian missionaries in the Philippines or Hindus in Kashmir or Animists in Africa is the result of "Zionism," then you're really a simpleton when it comes to foreign affairs.

Likewise, the global jihad of Islam against America and Britain have nothing whatsoever to do with the "occupation" of Iraq or Abu Ghraib or Guantanamo or ethnic profiling or even the Kyoto treaty. The mathematically illiterate might forget that 2001 (9/11) came before 2003 (the Iraq war) and 1993 (the first Twin Towers attack) came before 2000 (President Bush's election). The Islamists' objectives are not for America to withdraw from Iraq or sacrifice Israel to save our own skin. The video of American traitor Adam Gadahn says it all perfectly clearly:

“Instead of killing yourself for Bush ... why not surrender to the truth (of Islam), escape from the unbelieving army and join the winning side. Time is running out so make the right choice before it’s too late,” he said...

“It is time for the unbelievers to discard these incoherent and illogical beliefs,” he said. “Isn’t it the time for the Christians, Jews, Buddhists and atheists to cast off the cloak of the spiritual darkness which enshrouds them and emerge into the light of Islam?”

That's right: convert to Islam (which, aptly, means "submission," not "peace" as the PC propaganda states) or die. How many time do our terrorist enemies have to state over and over what they will do and why before we take them seriously. This has nothing to do with land, occupation or anything other than the fact that we dare not to worship Allah and Mohammed.
