Weakening America Not Enough; Soros Sets Sights on Israel

George Soros may be one of the most repugnant men alive today. He owes his vast fortune to free markets and the free flow of capital. Without Western style capitalism, Soros would be just another placard-carrying leftist. So how does he use his fortune? To endermine and attack the very model that enabled his success.

At first, Soros and his fellow traveler Peter Lewis, financed Moveon.org, which has trouble moving on from anything. The goal, of course, is to strip America of its leadership position in the world and subordinate our economic and national security policies to supranational organizations, such as the UN (the fact that America-basher and Kofi Annan crony Mark Malloch-Brown lives a Kato Kaelin existence on one of Soros's properties is not coincidental).

Naturally, the for the Soros-Lewis-Moveon-UN crowd, not only must America be weakened and hamstrung, but true human rights violators must be ignored, if not coddled. The leaders of Venezuela, North Korea, Cuba, Iran and the rest of their ilk are by definition heroic for no other reason than they thwart America at every turn, regardless of how many of their citizens are censored, tortured, executed or starved to death. But America is not the only standard bearer of freedom against an onslaught of fascism. Israel is also an tiny island of democracy amid a sea of Arab tyrannies. According to the Soros axis, that crime must be punished as well.

Does anyone besides me ponder the significance of socialist countries like Sweden having billionaires? Even socialist governments need job creation, so they foster their own pet capitalists. The dirty little secret is how good a deal this is for the old money boys--socialism removes the greatest threat to their fortunes--bright young men and women with better ideas and capital. Taxing the capital pool away forces the bright people with the better ideas to come hat in hand to the protected class of capitalist, guaranteeing that they'll never be overrun by technology or upstarts.

Its just good sense to be a socialist when you've already got your billion...
