Shouldn't it be "Blogging for the Minority" now? We shouldn't be misleading like those Dhimmicrats.

I am a social AND economic AND War on Terror Conservative, but your program allows for choice of only one. Can you fix?

Just a reminder to voters, Guiliani and McCain have a lot of RINO in them.

The results we got in the elections on Tuesday were not those for which I was hoping. However, since they are the results we GOT, I pray that the party leadership got the message. It would be interesting to see strawpolls on who is favored for the NEW leadership of the party as it is (I hope to God) reorganized.

I agree with the above - I am conservative in all three areas but I chose one. Is there a way to add some combinations including all of the above? Maybe a better way to see the real viewpoints from your readers...

Until Condi's name shows up on the list in some form, I won't participate in your poll. No she says she isn't running but her political presence is there and a real poll would incorporate it.

Re: What Barbara Schlesiona said: Perhaps there could be a way to rank the three types of conservative in order to get an idea of which type matters most, and in what order?

I think the GOP should put the FairTax Act (HR 25) on the party platform and no amnesty or guest worker program for illegals.

I'm an economic and Islamo-fascist War conservative, and a social libertarian and agree that a way to rank the three listed would be useful. I'm sorry to say that I think McCain comes out of this in the lead because I don't trust him. Giuliani is far more liberal socially than I like, but he's honorable and he's right about the war, so he'd get my vote if he were the nominee, but Brownback, Gingrich, and Tancredo would be my 1,2,3 choices since Cheney and Rice aren't interested. Mrs. Cheney would also be an intriguing candidate, especially after the way she kicked Wolf's butt. Or, at least, Chairman of the RNC?

I'm get awfully tired of the "RINO" label. Don't forget: "R" means less govt interference in the lives of its constituents - not more. Just like potty-training, some social issues should be learned and practiced first at home. I think the et-tu-RINO? brigade might really be DISCs (Dems in Sheeps Clothing), preferring to let the govt speak for them instead of speaking for themselves.

I would like to know more about Condi's domestic and social issue stances

I agree with these posts.

I only found three of the choices "acceptable", and of those only two that are electable.

I like Newt. But he has been so demonized over the years by the MSM, he has no chance of overcoming the negative image that has unfairly been cast on him.

Whoever will keep focused on the WOT, securing our borders. Reduce or eliminate many of the "social programs" that perpetuate the problems they were created to "fix". Then you can divert a lot of funding to addressing the many problems we face securing our borders, ports, water supply.

Keeping the tax cuts in place insure that federal revenues will keep increasing, as they have been for some time now.

This, along with budget cuts, and a hawkish stance, will get my vote.

A message to the pundits out there:
You are fooling yourselves,if you think the hard-line position on illegal immigrants cost the Reps.
In fact, if anything, the opposite is true

The battle lines are now crystal clear and let no man or woman deny these truths. The main stream media and the Democratic Party are one and the same. They are the enemy. We must plan and prepare for their defeat. They are as committed to our destruction as our Islamic enemy.
Onward Christian soldiers !
