Nancy Pelosi, who originallly wanted the corrupt impeached judge Alcee Hastings to chair the House Intelligence Committee, now has to settle for a second choice. Naturally, she chose an opponent of the war in Iraq, which Democratic spinsters will say is a move towards increase scrutiny and oversight of our nation's intelligence. But the real result will be continued politicization of intelligence by the Democrats to suit political needs.
