Romney Signs ATR's "Taxpayer Protection Pledge"

In Massachusetts, Governor Mitt Romney balanced the state budget, and helped turn a $3 billion deficit in 2002 to a $1 billion surplus in 2006.... all without raising taxes.

Now, as a potential presidential candidate, Mitt Romney has signed the Americans For Tax Reform's "Taxpayer Protection Pledge," becoming the first prospective candidate to do so.
