That didn't take long - from NRO's The Corner:
When asked about the (silly) "Are you black enough?" question on 60 Minutes, Senator Obama answered, "when I'm catching a cab, nobody's confused about that."When Mrs. Obama was asked if she is worried about his safety running for president, she answered, "as a black man, Barack can get shot going to the gas station."
This is going to be a long, divisive election, won't it?
If Obama and/or supporters are going to try and play this game, then I want specifics - I want names, dates and circumstances where Obama felt any threat or offense due to the fact that he's a black man in America. I'm sick enough of this from the likes of Jackson and Sharpton, and I'm not about to tolerate it from a man who possibly could be President.
Hey, Obama: show some guts and actually run on your record and proposals.
You want Obama to "show some guts"? The man's got more guts than all the chickenhawks in the Republican Party put together. Or yours a satirical blog?

Yah Patrick!
I mean just because Condi Rice lost three classmates to a KKK bomb - she don't know nothin'. And just because (thank God) her father and others used their 2nd Amendment Right to use their shotguns to defend their neighborhood from the Klan - she don't know nothin'. Oh by the way, the mayor, sherriff, judges, deputies, and governor at the time were white Democrats. But - what the heck, eh?
I was going to give more examples. But one is enough to prove you wrong because you said none. Next?

What "game"? He was asked a question, and he answered it. He didn't raise the race issue, his interviewer did. You're the one who's playing a "game" here. Or do you honestly believe race plays no role in modern American life?
But in any case - his race will be an issue, and there is nothing you, or even Obama himself, can do about it. To certain demographics, it might help his campaign. To others, it will hurt him. The pundits, god bless their heartless souls, will talk about it.
Your blog, Mark, parroted the story that Obama went to school at a Madrassa, which was false, and you further built the implication that he therefore was trained as a terrorist. Who's playing the race card, now?
