UPDATE: Gay Patriot has an excellent round up of the outrage on the right over Coulter's remark
My two cents on Ann: the only reason why Coulter says the things she says is to a. get some face time; b. sell another one of her silly books; and c. make money off her childish rantings.
Ms. Coulter's opinions about whoever and whatever hold as much weight as a sack of horse dung.

TL,
Well, come to think of it, so do yours and mine - the problem with Coulter is that she doesn't stop and show some empathy for her targets...skewering the other side is fine and dandy and can be a lot of fun...but the other side is always made up of our brothers and sisters, and thus there are limits to things which should be said...

I love Anne. She tells it as it is and for that reason, some people hate her.

Unfortunately, Ms. Coulter speaks for the conservative heart of this country. Why else would she be asked to speak at events like this so often? If conservatives are truly outraged over comments like this, then why was Mitt Romney introducing her? Why, given her history of bigotry, hatred and venom, was she even speaking at a conservative function? Rush, Anne, Trent Lott and George Allen are no different from other conservatives, their tongues are just a little looser, why else would people clap so loudly when they hear George Allen use a racist slur, or Ann Coulter call someone a "faggot", which according to her, has nothing to do with gay people. Hah! Racist and bigotted conservatism is the beating heart of the Republican party and REAL good, God fearing people who vote have had enough.
