I've received word that Mitt Romney has won the CPAC Straw Poll, and that they had the biggest number participating in the straw poll in CPAC history.
UPDATE: First choice results:
Romney 21
Giuliani 17
Brownback 15
Gingrich 14
McCain 12
Combined first and second choice:
Giuliani 34
Gingrich 30
Romney 30
UPDATE: Associated Press reports.
Fascinating that Romney and Giuliani are battling it out for the top spot - who would have thought this?
I'm still up in the air as to whom I'll support during the primaries. All of our candidates have their good points, but none of them has, as yet, really given me a compelling reason to support them.

Regardless of who gets nominated for the GOP ticket for 08, my mind is made up: I will not vote Republican unless I had no other choice. Sorry Mark, but after what i've seen our Idiot-in-Chief and his freakshow Administration do to our country , our world credibility and respect, the GOP is going to have to try pretty damn long and hard for me to at least earn a fourth of my respect, IMO.

I noticed the media have been smearing Romney by describing him as a "former Massachusetts Governor." (This displays the media's extreme leftwing bias in its starkest form.)
In the past, Romney has served as Governor of Massachusetts. This is not something Romney is proud of. Even he admits that he is not perfect (even outwardly he looks perfect.) But the 2008 election is NOT about what happened in Massachusetts in 2004. It is about America in 2008.... a point Romney has underscored by choosing to make his official candidacy announcement in Michigan rather than Massachusetts. It is about the values he is chmapioning in his 2008 Presidential campaign: rock-solid, utterly sincere American CONSERVATIVE values!

why would we believe that someone calling themselves "teenageliberal" would ever vote for anyone but a Democrat? Seriously... do you think your little rant can be taken at face value?

TL,
What is really wrong with your point of view is that the United States has never been more secure, more wealthy, more powerful - TL, these are the "good old days" you'll look back on 50 years from now...and all you could do was hate them, at the behest of others who bamboozled you into your point of view.
Rather sad.

Gee, invading a country that had NOTHING to do with the 9/11 attacks, then creating a terrorist breeding ground because of the decision to invade doesn't sound secure to me.
.....more wealthy......
Yeah, there's just the problem that we own China billion of dollars in debt and we had a huge scare because of China this week, otherwise; we're doing fine!
these are the "good old days"
Gee i'd hate to consider what the bad days are under Shrub. [sarcasm]

TL,
You are familiar with the size of the US economy, aren't you?
QUIZ:
Please describe the difference between "billion" and "trillion".
