Not That I Ever Liked Lawyers...by Matt Margolis at 10:40 PM
Jonathan Martin at Politico notes that McCain is launching a "Lawyers for McCain" event this week at Jack Abramoff's former firm, Greenberg Traurig. As the former chairman of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee, McCain actually investigated Greenberg Traurig employees involved in the influence peddling scandal. Considering that a number of employee there were also involved in taking bribes, it doesn't seem like the best place to launch his legal coalition.
