While I'm sure liberal robot followers of the Democratic Party will accuse Republicans of seeing political opportunity for the GOP following the apparent stroke of Senator Tim Johnson (D-SD) last year, it was actually the media that began the speculation about the GOP possibly gaining from Johnson's impairment - it was not the GOP saying that they hoped to gain a seat in the Senate as a result.
Democrats should get over any sick fantasies they have that the seat will go to a Democrat, as BlogPI notes, even though the Governor of Wyoming is a Democrat, the seat will be temporarily filled by a Republican.
Typical...so typical. There's a reason they responded quicker to this death than last year's Democratic death. Coincidence?
