Noonan, sorry but your insults aren't funny.
On an earlier thread at your blogsite, you you explained to me your hatred of the Democrats. Allow me to respond to your comments.
1.) Being the Catholic that you are, I thought you would know that Jesus taught his followers to love instead of hate.
2.) "But there is, youngster, a monumental level of contempt your liberal leaders have for you."
I find what you wrote ironic because you have a contempt of anyone that has a differnent viewpoint that is not your own.
Libertarian,Well, being a libertarian is wrong - as is being a liberal or a leftist. The reason I'm a Catholic and a conservative is because I think that Catholicism and conservatism are correct.
And being a classic liberal just means you haven't trudged down that inevitible liberal road to statism. God - the most important thing, and the only foundation of any political rationality.

3.) "They want your votes and they want your money....."
Uh, don't all political parties want your votes and your money? To say that the Democrats want your money and your votes and try and deny that the GOP wants the same thing from it's followers is complete bulls^&t, in my opinion.
4.) but if you just once step out of line, you'll find how quickly and ruthlessly they'll turn on you.
True. Just look at Senators Joe Lieberman and Chuck Hagel.
Bottom line: I agree, the Democrats aren't perfect. But i'll take them over your screwed-up party any day of the week. The choice was made for me when I saw Iraq going down the drain and I saw a party that wanted no part of our involvement and one party that was baking the mess the whole way.

I have my doubts about the authenticity only because Hugo Chávez isn't mentioned once. Certainly I thought he at least be present during the coronation. Do we have the guest list? Perhaps he just doesn't have a speaking part.
Funny all the same.

This post made me laugh. I love the ceremonial tree hugging. And Bill asking Ted to drive Hillary home.

TL.
I can't argue that the Republican Party is not all that impressive right now. But you must not be very educated in politics. So let me help you out here.
You say that "I saw a party that wanted no part of our involvement and one party that was baking the mess the whole way." I'm sure you said that due to the fact you had no idea that Sen. Clinton, Sen. Kerry, and nearly all of the rest of the dems were pushing to overthrow Saddam. Of course now that it is no longer "Popular" to be in Iraq, they are of course no longer for it.
They say there will be "The most ethical congress in our nation's history." Yet we have people like William Jefferson, Don Siegelman, Murtha, and numerous more that have either been sentenced, will be sentenced, or should be are still involved with the party.
"No more Pork." Unless of course it benefits Pelosi, Reid, or countless other dems that couldn't define the word "Ethical" unless they had a dictionary directly in front of them.
The reason the dems are in the majority right now is not because of ideas, but because we had Republicans run as conservatives, but legislated like libs. So America punished the former majority, as they should have.
But now we see what a dem majority can do. Which is complain, do nothing, and try to get elected by having their lapdogs (the main-stream media) spit out their bumpersticker slogans.
I take solace in these words. "If you are young and Conservative, you have no heart. But if you are older and Liberal, you have no brain."

HA- JH are you truly that stupid or just playing around till Mommy comes home, hopefully the later? You can’t argue that the repug party is not all that impressive right now HAHA… when was it ever! When have they ever wanted anything other than war and big business to flourish…..never. Look at what Reagan did, next to bush he is the worst president in history, but you will never know this because facts are too hard for you. It’s always “we need smaller government” and to stop regulating business. WOW what a great idea.. Health Care is thru the roof in costs. Energy is insanely expensive …..oil companies have done a good job regulating themselves and not building any new refineries in 20yrs..right?
Ethics/Pork- you are the pot calling the kettle black for sure. Let’s see do the names Cunningham, Delay, Ney, Folly, Vitter and no bid contracts ring a bell!
Here is an even more comprehensive list... once again it is filled with facts you may have hard time with.

Is your buddy Ted still getting his 250million bridge to no where? PLEASE let us have the PORK in legislation….. It helps create jobs and improve the infrastructure in our country. Money much better spent than on a war of lies and greed.
Lastly you say dems cannot do anything… true and why? Because the majority is slim and the repug have always been good obstructionists. You should be ashamed of yourself for the support you give the minority. Americans are dying right now and your party will not even allow a debate about the issues without filibustering… you are pathetic, don’t you have enough blood on your hands already…
